An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HGV Driver at Zoo Events Group, based around the Salisbury area, we are looking for an experienced driver who is willing to work independently and together as a team to ensure our equipment is efficiently delivered.

We specialise in the events industry and we provide luxury washrooms to many prestigious and famous events and festivals all over the UK. Including Silverstone Circuit, Glastonbury Festival, Goodwood and Cheltenham to name a few.

Contract Type: Temporary Full-Time

Hours will vary, they may exceed 40 hours a week which may include weekend work.

Salary: Hourly Rate dependant on experience and licence type.

Required Skills / Licences:

  • Either a C1+E/ C1 or Class 1 licence
  • Digi tacho card
  • CPC Driver card
  • Willing to work weekends and be flexible with hours
  • Good level of fitness

 

The Role:

  • Loading/unloading equipment from vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Delivering equipment on time and assisting with on site basic plumbing, and positioning of equipment.
  • General ad hoc duties around our premise, including cleaning and tidying the workshop and vehicles

 

Desirable Skills (but not essential):

  • Plumbing experience
  • Forklift licence or experience

Full training will be provided for basic plumbing and on how to safely load and manoeuvre our equipment.

This position is not for someone who is only wanting to be a driver, we’re looking for someone who has a keen interest in events and the outdoors, and someone who wants to learn something new. Zoo Events Group are on the hunt for practical, forward thinking individuals to join our exciting Events team over the summer.

We require dedicated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, travelling the country and co-operating within small teams. We are a close knit Company who pull off spectacular events and you could be part of this.

Hours: Hours can vary per week and will consist of weekend work.

Position: Temporary Full-time

Salary: Hourly Rate dependant on experience. We will also take on self employed individuals.

The Role :

  •  Attending Events from weddings to world renowned Sporting Events
  •  Installing and decommissioning our washroom equipment
  •  Basic plumbing on site and training in vacuum technology
  •  Working amongst small groups and leading your own team to complete tasks
  •  General ad hoc duties on site and at our premises

Required Skills:

  •  Good time keeping and practically minded
  •  Happy to work weekends and overtime
  •  Experience in plumbing and site work
  •  Good level of fitness
  •  UK driving licence and own transport as the premises is in a rural location

A position has become available at Zoo Events Group for a Yard Assistant to perform general pressure washing and cleaning duties at our premises near Salisbury.

We specialise in the Events industry and we provide luxury washrooms to many prestigious and famous events and festivals all over the UK. Including Silverstone Circuit, Glastonbury Festival, Goodwood and Cheltenham to name a few.

Contract Type: Temporary: early May to late September. We are on the lookout for temporary roles to become full time so if we are impressed with your abilities and standards there is the potential for a Full Time position.

Hours: Guaranteed 45 hours per week. Hours can vary per week, this may consist of weekend work with week days off.

Salary : Hourly Rate dependant on experience. Above minimum wage.

The Role:

  •  General yard cleaning and tidying
  •  Vehicle valeting and cleaning
  • Pressure washing equipment returning from site.
  •  Workshop picking and stock checking
  •  Loading/unloading equipment safely and efficiently
  •  Ad hoc general labouring
  •  Occasional work on site as assistant operatives

Required Skills:

  •  Own transport as the premises is in a rural location
  •  Good working attitude and driven
  •  Can work as part of a team and independently
  •  Good level of fitness

Full training will be provided for basic plumbing and on how to safely load and manoeuvre our equipment if applicable.

Desirable Skills (but not essential):

  •  Qualifications or experience in forklift driving, plumbing or labouring

We are looking for an Office Assistant with experience in the events industry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising logistics and personnel, supporting sales and liaising with clients. It is also essential to have good IT skills in Microsoft applications, social media and online platforms.

The candidate must be excellent at prioritising tasks and consider themselves efficient and organised. Punctuality is key, and a friendly and approachable manner is required. The position will cover both sides of our company, ZooLoos and ZooBells.

  • Hours: 8am-5pm, 41.25 hours a week, Mon-Fri (you may be asked to work in excess of these hours and occasionally weekends)
  • Full-Time Fixed-Term Contract from April until September 2019 (Exact dates to be agreed with successful candidate)
  • We are on the look-out for temporary roles to become permanent so if we are impressed with your abilities there is the potential for a permanent role.
  • Salary: £18,000 – £20,000 per annum pro rata, and includes pro rata holiday entitlement

 

The Role:

  • Preparing and gathering quotes, as well as generating sales leads
  • Organising personnel and scheduling staff for events
  • Booking travel, accommodation and facilities for events
  • Liaising with clients either over the phone or through email. Answering the phone, taking detailed notes and responding to emails promptly
  • Preparing various documents, e.g. Health and Safety reports, site plans and in-house forms
  • Responsible for marketing and campaigns through our social media pages, website and other online platforms.
  • General administrative support to Office Staff and Directors

 

Required skills:

  • Previous administrative, secretarial or operations experience preferably within the events industry
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Polite phone manner, excellent grammar and a professional approach
  • Knowledge in social media, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, advertising and promotion

 

Desirable skills:

  • The following applications are used often within the business, it would be beneficial for you to have good knowledge of them; Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Mailchimp, WordPress, Eventbrite, Current RMS, Deputy, Google Drive, Quickbooks Online.
